The acronym “OBAUBAZAW” was coined from the major languages of Nigeria (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and some other tribes) as a reflection of the truism of unity in strength, as shown by the broom.
At the time of the formation of Obaubazaw in the history of the Nigerian polity, there was so much strife within virtually all the regions of the country, and so a group of patriots assembled and gave birth to the contraption called “OBAUBAZAW
